Suits/ Petitions are to be typed in
double space on Cartridge paper with proper margins
on right and left side.
2.
Appropriate Court Fee is to be affixed
except in cases where the petitioner is suing as an
indigent person.

Civil Cases upto the value of Rs.2.00
Lacs are to be filed in the Office of Civil Judge Junior
Division (Munshief) No. 1, District & Sessions Judge
Court Complex, Kamrup, Guwahati. Civil Cases valued
more than 2.00 Lacs are to be filed in the Office of Civil
Judge Senior Division No. 1, New Court Building, First
Floor, District & Sessions Judge Court Complex,
Kamrup, Guwahati. Appeals against orders of Civil
Judges upto value 5.00 Lacs are to be filed in the Office
of District & Sessions Judge Court, Kamrup,
Guwahati.
4.
Application for anticipatory and regular bails
are to be
filed in the Office of District & Sessions
Judge, Kamrup, Guwahati.The said application shall
be supported by affidavits to the effect that the
applicants have not filed any other application for
bail in other courts for the same purpose.
5.
Vakalatnama shall be affixed with proper court
fee and a stamp in respect of Advocates Relief
Fund.

summons and notices etc. issued by Subordinate
Courts as authorised by the Hon’ble High Court is
